The short story

Sorvant is a real-time situational awareness engine. It started from a simple frustration: you open three news sites in the morning and see the same story copied everywhere, with different headlines and zero context. Who confirms what? How many sources say the same thing? What's missing from the story?

So we built a tool that does this automatically. Not a newsroom - an understanding engine.

How it works

Sorvant monitors news sources in real time. An AI reads every article, extracts facts, identifies topics and groups information into situations - not individual stories, but complete pictures of events.

  • Articles are automatically grouped by topic - one event = one page, not 15 links
  • Facts are verified by source count - see how many newsrooms confirm the same information
  • Entities (people, organizations, places) are enriched with context from Wikipedia
  • Every original article is one click away - we don't rewrite, we organize

What Sorvant is not

We are not a newsroom. We have no journalists. We don't write news and we don't pretend to. Summaries, classifications and extracted facts are generated by artificial intelligence - which sometimes makes mistakes. That's why every page contains direct links to the original sources.

We are one person and an AI, not a company with 50 employees. But the tool works, and the data is real.

Why "Sorvant"?

Because important news deserves to be watched over - surfaced, not buried in noise.

X-Ray

Press the [X-Ray] button in the corner of the page to see how the news is organized: how many topics, how many sources, which entities appear, how situations are grouped. Total transparency - see exactly what the engine sees.
